About this Course
VCAT I is a four-day course which will be held Tuesday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm for review before the optional certification exam starting after lunch. This is a foundation level vibration analysis course that is intended for personnel who are new to, or have 6 months experience, in vibration analysis. It is ideal for those interested in understanding and improving the reliability of their machines. The course will cover periodic, single channel data collection and basic fault recognition for condition-based maintenance programmes. A foundation is established for in-depth understanding of spectrum and wave form relationships. The certification examination is 60 questions that you are allowed 2 hours to complete. Students will be provided with three (3) CEUs and Certificates of Completion.
