About this Course

The Asset Reliability Practitioner [E] “Reliability Engineer” course is intended for industrial reliability engineers whose role is to help the organization improve reliability and performance, and for anyone else in the organization who desires to have an in-depth knowledge of the reliability and performance improvement process. e.g., Reliability Engineers, Asset Improvement Engineers, Condition Monitoring Personnel, Maintenance Managers etc. It gives a great foundation in knowing why unreliability occurs, how to prevent it and how to develop a plan to change processes and procedures to give measurable business results. Most Reliability Engineers get promoted to the role, without having any formal training in Reliability. It takes a long time to learn from others, by on-the-job instruction or by trial and error, so this course gives Reliability Engineers the core foundations so they can be confident and successful in their roles. The course emphasises that achievements require a mix of technical and relational skills and that a reliability engineer needs to involve others in the improvement efforts. The course length is 5 days including a 3-hour certification exam on the final day.
