All About Mobius Institute
Mobius Institute provides reliability improvement, condition monitoring and precision maintenance training to industrial plants and individuals throughout the world.
MOBIUS INSTITUTE is a worldwide provider of Reliability Improvement, Condition Monitoring and Precision Maintenance education to industrial plant managers, reliability engineers and condition monitoring technicians, allowing plants to be successful in implementing Reliability Improvement programs through delivery of more easily understandable and comprehensive training of Reliability and Vibration Analysis via public, in-plant and online education programs. Mobius key advantage is its extensive experience and success in teaching reliability management and technical skills development topics since 1999. Mobius Institute is unique to its competitors by offering superior training content that uses innovative 3D animations and software simulations, that make complex topics easy to understand.
Mobius Institute Board of Certification is ISO 9001 certified and is an ISO/IEC 17024 and ISO 18436-1 accredited certification body that provides globally recognized certification to Category I-IV vibration analysts in accordance with ISO 18436-1 and 18436-2.
Mobius Institute has offices in Australia, Belgium and the United States, and authorized training centers in more than 50 countries. For more information, call (615) 216-4811 (GMT -5), email us at learn@mobiusinstitute.com or visit www.mobiusinstitute.com.
It is important to note that Mobius Institute is independent of all vibration monitoring system vendors. Our training material does not favor any single vendor, and courses are delivered on behalf of AzimaDLI, Emerson, Commtest, Pruftechnik, Rockwell, and SKF (in alphabetical order) in one or more places around the world. It should also be noted that we have partnerships with Timken, SPM, and FAG so we cover almost all of the data collector vendors around the world.
Mobius was formed in 1999. The founder, Jason Tranter, has been active in vibration analysis since 1984, and worked for over 20 years in the development of vibration analysis software and vibration monitoring systems and instrumentation; first in the Australian company ARGO and later for DLI Engineering (now AzimaDLI) in the United States. Today we have 17 staff members and dozens of training partners and resellers throughout the world.
We are very proud to have received Government export awards in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2012, and we have won Plant Engineering product of the year awards for iLearnVibration, iLearnInterpreter, iLearnAlignment and more recently iLearnReliability and Mobius iVibe.
